High Demand, a California-bred son of Danzig and a winner of five of six starts, has been retired and will stand the 2003 breeding season at Betty Mabee's Golden Eagle Farm near Ramona, Calif., for a fee of $7,500.
High Demand, out of the stakes-winning Forli mare Jasmina, was bred by Mabee and her late husband, John. He won his last five starts, four of them on the turf, at distances from 5 1/2 furlongs to 1 1/16 miles. He earned $192,120.
