The superfecta wager will return to Canadian bettors Nov. 18, it was announced Friday following a meeting in Ottawa of representatives of the major Canadian tracks, tote companies and the Canadian Pari-Mutuel Agency.

However, two popular multi-race bets, the Pick 6 and the Win 4, will remain unavailable. The CPMA, while continuing its own investigation, said it wants to participate in the NTRA Technology Task Force and will not re-introduce those bets until it evaluates all information on security issues related to them.

According to a Woodbine press release, the consensus of the group is that "Canadian wagering systems are secure."

Stephen Edwards, executive vice president of Racetracks of Canada, termed the meeting "very successful and productive."
