Cee's Stable's Tizbud, the full brother to 2000 Horse of the Year Tiznow who is winless in his first two starts, is entered in a $43,000 maiden special weight on Thursday at Hollywood Park.
Out with a fever for much of the past three months, Tizbud debuted with a third-place finish on July 7 in a six-furlong maiden special weight at Hollywood Park, when he was beaten by four lengths. He regressed less than a month later when fifth in a one-mile maiden race at Del Mar, losing by ten lengths to Infinite Faith.
The 3-year-old son of Cee's Tizzy will be stretching out to 1 1/16 mile Thursday. Victor Espinoza will handle the riding assignment.
Tizbud caught a fever while stabled at Del Mar. Trainer John Sadler said his charge has bounced back, though, and is doing well.
