First Florida Million on Saturday

Calder Race Course will host the inaugural Florida Million on Nov. 16. Of the day's 12 live races, six added-money races offer $1 million in purses to Florida-bred horses in six divisions.
Starting with the fifth race, the Florida Million races are:
Fifth race--the Joe O'Farrell Juvenile Fillies, $150,000 purse, 7 furlongs, for 2-year-old fillies
Seventh race--the Jack Price Juvenile, $150,000 purse, 7 furlongs, for 2-year-olds.
Ninth race--Bonnie Heath Turf Cup, $150,000 purse, nine furlongs on the turf for 3-year-olds and up
10th race--Elmer Heubeck Distaff Handicap, $200,000 purs, 8 1/2 fulrongs, fillies and mares three years old and up
11th race--Jack Dudley Sprint Handicap, $150,000 purse, nine furlongs on the turf for 3-year-olds and up
12th race--Carl G. Rose Classic, $200,000 purse, nine furlongs on the dirt for 3-year-olds and up.
