The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association announced that live video coverage of the 27th Annual National Awards Dinner to be held Sept. 7 at Keeneland in Lexington will be available on bloodhorse.com.
"We are excited to partner with The Blood-Horse to provide a live stream of the awards dinner," said Dan Metzger president of TOBA, in a release. "This will mark the first time we have offered an online viewing option and are happy to offer this opportunity to our members and the racing community this year."
Video coverage of the dinner will begin at 7 p.m. EDT Sept. 7. Coverage can be seen online at www.bloodhorse.com/tobaawards.
The TOBA national awards dinner, hosted by two-time Eclipse Award winner Tom Leach, honors the achievements of Thoroughbred owners in the four major North American racing regions and breeders in 23 states and Canada. In addition, the Rood & Riddle Thoroughbred Sport Horse of the Year Award is presented to the owner of the ex-Thoroughbred racehorse that excelled in sport horse competitions tracked by the United States Equestrian Federation. TOBA also honors a national broodmare of the year.
