Forbidden Apple, one of the leading turf horses in the nation, will make his next start in the $500,000 Citation Handicap (gr. II) on grass at Hollywood Park on Nov. 30, trainer Christophe Clement said Monday from New York.

Forbidden Apple, a 7-year-old horse owned and bred by Arthur Appleton, finished fourth in the Breeders' Cup Mile in his last start. He has won eight of 29 starts and earned more than $1.7 million.

Clement said he planned to send two other horses west to accompany Forbidden Apple for the $2.1 million Turf Festival that weekend. They are Strawberry Blonde, runner-up in the Athenia Handicap at Belmont Saturday, for the $500,000 Matriarch Stakes for fillies and mares December 1, and Limitation for the $200,000 Generous Stakes for 2-year-olds Nov. 30.

The grade II Citation will be run at 1 1/16 miles on the grass.

Clement also said that he planned to send several other turf runners out for other races during the meet.
