Grade 3 Affirmed Handicap hero Nonios (Pleasantly Perfect), runner-up in the Grade 1 Awesome Again (formerly Goodwood) and Grade 1 Haskell Invitational, clocked a bullet five furlongs in :59 4/5 over Hollywood Park's Cushion Track on Wednesday. The dark bay sophomore has been pre-entered to both the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile and Classic, with a first preference to the Dirt Mile.

Grade 2 runner-up Romp (Incurable Optimist), third in an optional claimer earlier this month, readied for the Marathon with a one-mile move in 1:42 1/5.

Grade 2 victress Great Hot (Orientate), runner-up in the L.A. Woman (formerly Louis Rowan) two weeks ago, sped three panels in a bullet :34 on Santa Anita's fast main track in advance of the Filly & Mare Sprint.

Recent Grade 1 Santa Anita Sprint Championship (formerly Ancient Title) third Jimmy Creed (Distorted Humor) was caught going five furlongs in a bullet :59 4/5 in preparation for either the Sprint or Dirt Mile. The chestnut three-year-old has first preference to the Sprint.
