Came Home's first-year stud fee will be $40,000. The son of Gone West, a multiple grade I winner and millionaire, will stand his first season at William S. Farish's Lane's End Farm near Versailles, Ky.
Came Home, out of the Clever Trick mare Nice Assay, won eight graded stakes and earned $1,835,940. He initially raced for his breeders, John Toffan and Trudy McCaffery, before Farish and partner John Goodman bought an interest in him last August.
Winner of the grade I Santa Anita Derby and Pacific Classic this year as a 3-year-old, Came Home finished 10th in his final start, the Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I).
