Multiple stakes winner Captain Countdown, a meet champion at Remington Park and Sam Houston, will enter stud at Hamton Farm near Montalba, Texas. Bred and raced by Dr. Gearald Farris, 6-year-old Captain Countdown (Relaunch -- Bearly Cooking, by Really Cooking) won 11 of 35 races and earned $384,155. His six stakes wins included victories in the Silver Bullet Centennial Handicap and Bob Johnson Memorial Stakes, both $75,000 events. Captain Countdown will stand for Farris in partnership for a fee of $1,000.
