Knight of Cups, a 2-year-old daughter of Basket Weave, brought the top price of $24,000 during the Washington Thoroughbred Breeders Association's mixed sale on Oct. 20 at Emerald Downs. Produced from the 6-year-old stakes-winning mare That Knight (by Knights Choice), the filly is a full sister to stakes winner Enduring Knight. Consigned by Tall Cedars Farm, agent for Ginger Gamblin, Knight of Cups was purchased by trainer Jim Penny on the behalf of Homestretch Farm.
