Shadow Caster to Sherwood's in Texas

Grade II winner Shadow Caster has been retired and will enter stud at Sherwood's Farm and Equine Nursery, owned by Patti and Bart Sherwood, near Seguin, Texas.
Campaigned by Gatsas Thoroughbreds, 6-year-old Shadow Caster (Future Storm -- Just Dance, by Duck Dance) scored his major win in the 2000 Forego Handicap (gr. II) at Saratoga and also was a stakes winner the two previous years. He placed in six added-money races during his career and was retired with eight wins from 47 starts and $477,653 in earnings.
