It's Our Time Wins Impressively in Keeneland Debut

It's Our Time, a $735,000 Keeneland September 2001 yearling purchase, won her debut Wednesday at the track, circling the field from deep in the pack to tally a 1 1/2-length win over Romantic Comedy.
Owned by John Manganaro Jr., It's Our Time is a 2-year-old dark bay filly by Seeking The Gold out of Leo's Lucky Lady (Seattle Slew).
Ridden by Pat Day for trainer Nick Zito, It's Our Time broke sluggishly and was bumped while racing ninth and wide in the 10-horse field. She went seven wide into the stretch to edge clear under hand urging. The final time was 1:31.24 at about seven furlongs.
It's Our Time paid $12 to win.
