Miswaki to Stand for Private Fee in 2003

Major sire Miswaki, whose son Black Tie Affair won the 1991 Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I) and was Horse of the Year, will stand for a private fee in 2003, according to John T.L. Jones Jr.'s Walmac International near Lexington. The sire of 87 stakes winners, 24-year-old Miswaki stood in 2002 for $30,000 and covered 72 mares.
Walmac announced a reduction in the fee for 1997 Breeders' Cup Juvenile (gr. I) winner and Horse of the Year Favorite Trick from $15,000 to $10,000 for 2003.
