Javerre won his first three races of the year at Monmouth Park. The son of Outflanker captured the $60,000 New Jersey Breeders Handicap at Monmouth Park in his fifth start in his first stakes appearance. He earned $158,170.
Edward Rosen and Roseland Farm Stable's Visionary Ruler was named champion 2-year-old after winning two of his four starts, including the $60,000 Jersey Juvenile Stakes.
Tee N Jay Farm homebred Senator Beck was named champion 3-year-old filly and champion turf runner. She won three races including $75,000 Desert Vixen Stakes.
Smith and Kokomo Stable's Lil Kiara was named the champion handicap mare after winning two races last year. She won the $60,000 Open Mind Handicap.
Jose Samaniego's Smoke the Devil was named champion handicap male after winning the Charles Hesse III Handicap at Monmouth Park.
Penniless Heiress received the Thoroughbred Breeders' Association of New Jersey Broodmare of the Year award. Owned by New Farm, Penniless Heiress has produced four stakes winners from seven foals to race.
Defrere is the Thoroughbred Breeders' Association of New Jersey's Stallion of the Year for the fifth consecutive year. Defrere had total progeny earnings of $1,617,188.
