Stakes Winner Entepreneur to Stand at The Stallion Park

Stakes winner Entepreneur has been retired and will enter stud at James F. Edwards' The Stallion Park in Millbrook, N.Y. Owned by Gary and Mary West, 5-year-old Entepreneur will stand for $3,500.

Entepreneur, whose deceased sire, Cure the Blues, led the state stallion list a number of years, won the 1999 New York Stallion Great White Way and Sleepy Hollow Stakes, and his six stakes-placings included runner-up efforts in this year's True North Breeders' Cup (gr. II) and Count Fleet Sprint (gr. III) Handicaps. Bred by George Waggoner Stables and produced from the Miswaki mare Iniki, Entepreneur retires with seven wins from 25 starts and $441,214 in earnings.
