Criquette Head-Maarek runners finished one-two in the Group I Prix de la Foret at Longchamp on Sunday afternoon, with Dedication, sporting her mother's colors, beating Medecis by a neck.

Rider Olivier Doleuze had the pick of the pair for the seven-furlong test of fllies and mares, and chose correctly. The grey filly got first run on Medecis, the French 2000 Guineas runner-up crossing the line a neck in front Cayoke, who was third. The final time was 1:18.70.

Dedication, a 3-year-old filly by Highest Honor, made headway less than two furlong outs after running sixth early, got to the lead just inside the final furlong, and won driving.
