Godolphin's Slickly Captures Milan Group I

Godolphin Racing's Slickly won the Group I Premio Vittorio di Capua Sunday at San Siro in Milan, Italy, defeating Horeion Directa by a length.
Slickly, a French-bred 6-year-old horse by Linamix out of the Conquistador Cielo mare Slipstream Queen, is trained by Saeed bin Suroor and was ridden by Frankie Dettori.
On a heavy turf course, Slickly led all the way in the field of 10. He was timed in 1:42.30 for the mile. Scapalo was third, 1 1/4 lengths behind the second-place finisher
