Living up her to name and billing, Ivanavinalot made another race look easy as she took the early lead and coasted home for the 13 3/4-length victory in Saturday's $400,000 My Dear Girl Division of the Florida Stallion Stakes.
Sent off at odds of 2-5, the daughter of West Acre, ridden by Manoel Cruz, covered the 1 1/16 miles in 1:45 4/5 and paid $2.80, $2.60 and $2.10.
Trained by Kathleen O'Connell, Ivanavinalot captured the final two legs of the Stallion Stakes with her only career loss coming in a troubled fourth in the Desert Vixen Division.
Stars Go Blue, a maiden with Gary Boulanger up, rallied from last to take the place spot, paying $11.20 and $2.10 as a 35-1 longshot. Dakota Light, with Julio Garcia aboard, finished another 1 ¾-lengths back in third and paid $2.10.
The victory by Ivanavinalot earned owner Gilbert Campbell $240,000 to increase her lifetime bankroll to $418,300. The win was O'Connell's fourth in the Florida Stallion Stakes, all in different divisions.
"I'm very relieved," said O'Connell. "You always worry going into a big race like this. She's still growing and maturing. She runs hard every time."
