Got Koko Goes in Columbus Day Ramser 'Cap

Got Koko, a consistent 3-year-old daughter of Signal Tap who is making her presence felt in the Bruce Headley barn, heads the first division of the $75,000 Harold C. Ramser Sr. Handicap on Santa Anita turf on Monday.

Got Koko has finished worse than third only once in six starts. Her most recent race was her best yet, a victory the Torrey Pines Stakes at one mile on the dirt Sept. 8 at Del Mar.

On Monday, the versatile Texas-bred returns to the turf course in the at 1 1/16 mile. She was third, beaten two lengths, in the Sandy Blue at 1 1/16 miles on Del Mar's turf course on Aug. 4, and fifth, beaten only two lengths, on Hollywood Park's grass at one mile on April 25.

"She's won three out of six and she's run with good fillies," Headley said. "I expect a good performance."

Got Koko has a 3-0-2 record from six starts, with earnings of $122,946.
