English bookmaking firm William Hill has dropped Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner Marienbard from its board for the Breeders' Cup Turf (gr. IT), citing the horse's "withdrawal" from the race at Arlington Park Oct. 26.

However, Simon Crisford, Godolphin racing manager, said no decision will be made until pre-entry day, Oct. 15.

William Hill installed High Chaparral as the 5-2 favorite (down from 3-1), with Golan refigured at 4-1, Denon at 6-1, Ballingarry 7-1, and With Aniticipation 7-1. Those four each dropped one unit from their previous odds.

Marienbard, a 5-year-old son of Caerleon, is owned by Godolphin, and was bred in Ireland by Saif Ali. He has won eight races from 17 starts and just under $2 million. Coming out of the Arc, Marienbard's connections were said to be considering either the Breeders' Cup Turf or the Japan Cup (Jpn-I).
