Lucille Little, wife of breeder W. Paul Little, died in Lexington Tuesday at the age of 93. Little's husband, Paul, bred Wild Again and 28 other stakes winners. After her husband's death, Lucille Little became entrenched in many cultural projects in Lexington. Her $1 million donation to the Kentucky Horse Park was it's biggest gift on record and as recently as last year Mrs. Little conceived the horse-themed pendulum clock which was installed in Lexington's central branch of the public library.

Little's obituary in the Lexington Herald-Leader said she was born in Morehead, Ky., and married Paul Little in 1937. Lucille Little was active in drama and the arts in Lexington through the Lexington Children's Theater, the Lexington Philharmonic Orchestra, and Studio Players.
