Godolphin champion miler Noverre will enter stud at Darley's Kildangan Stud in Ireland in 2003. A half-brother to international champion Arazi, Noverre was England's highweighted 3-year-old miler in 2001 after winning the Champagne Lanson Sussex Stakes (Eng-I). He finished first in the Dubai Poule d'Essai des Poulains (Fr-I, the French Two Thousand Guineas), but later was disqualified after failing a drug test.
Noverre (Rahy -- Danseur Fabuleux, by Northern Dancer) won five of 19 races, including two additional English group events, and earned $1,357,183. His nine group I stakes-placings in three countries included a runner-up effort in this year's Dubai Duty Free. Four-year-old Noverre is being aimed for the Champion Stakes (Eng-I).
