Jockey Shane Sellers and Bridget Parker of Parker View Farm will host the All-Star Jockeys' No-Limit Texas Hold 'Em Poker Tournament, scheduled to be held Oct. 6 at The Castle Post in Versailles, Ky.
Among the champion jockeys scheduled to participate in the tournament are 1977 Triple Crown-winning rider Jean Cruguet; three-time Kentucky Derby winners Calvin Borel and Kent Desormeaux; 2013 leading female jockey Rosie Napravnik; Hall of Fame inductees Pat Day, Gary Stevens, Mike Smith, and Edgar Prado.
The cost to play is $250 for a buy-in, $100 for re-buys (2), and $100 for an add-on (1). The cost to attend the event as a non-player is $50 per person.
All proceeds from the event will go to The Simunye Project, a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization established by Bridget Parker to aid the impoverished people primarily in the KwaZulu-Natal area of South Africa.

Full-field prize amounts will be $10,000 (1st place), $5,000 (2nd place), $3,000 (3rd place), $1,500 (4th place), $1,000 (5th place), $250 (6th through 10th place), $200 (11th through 15th place), and $100 (16th through 20th place). Payout is based on 200 players and will be adjusted if there are fewer players.
Registration begins at 5 p.m. on the day of the event, with the game starting at 7 p.m.
