Ballingarry, getting new owners.
Irish-bred Ballingarry, winner of Sunday's Canadian International (gr. IT) at Woodbine in his first North American start, will have new owners when he goes postward in the Breeders' Cup Turf.
Trainer Laura de Seroux announced during an NTRA teleconference Tuesday that the 3-year-old son of Sadler's Wells has been purchased from Mrs. John Magnier by Sidney Port, Marsha Naify, and Narvick International. DeSeroux said the purchase price agreed to prior to Sunday's win was "seven figures."
Previously trained by Aidan O'Brien, Ballingarry finished third in the group I Irish St. Leger Sept. 14 at The Curragh previous to the Canadian International. He had lost four in a row since a group II win in France in April.
