Reeves Lithograph Sales to Benefit Grayson-Jockey Club

Renowned equine artist Richard Stone Reeves is designating a portion of the proceeds from his most recent edition of fine art lithographs entitled "Mr.Prospector" to the Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation.

What Mr. Reeves described as "a substantial percentage" will be donated to the leading private source for equine veterinary research.

Reeves chose to portray Mr. Prospector in his paddock at Claiborne Farm for the limited edition. Each of the 350 lithograph has been signed and numbered by Reeves. The printing plates have been destroyed and no other lithographs will be made again.

The lithographs cost $398.00 in the United States and $430.00 outside the U.S. The price includes shipping, handling, and insurance.

"This is not the first time Mr. Reeves has directed his enormous talents to the benefit of equine research," recalled Edward L. Bowen, president of the Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation. "He donated his personal royalties from one of his handsome books, Royal Blood, to our foundation. He obviously appreciates the horse and our dedication to equine research. We are honored by this additional contribution."
