Syndicated stallion Point Given, whose fee of $125,000 was the highest for an incoming stallion of 2002, had his fee reduced to $75,000 for 2003. Point Given (Thunder Gulch--Turko's Turn, by Turkoman) was last year's Horse of the Year and champion 3-year-old male before entering stud at Robert Clay's Three Chimneys Farm near Midway, Ky. At the Keeneland September yearling sale, Thunder Gulch averaged $213,083 with his dozen yearlings, including one who went for $1.2 million.
