Skeedattle Stable's Forever Partners, an 11-length winner of the Colleen Stakes in early August at Monmouth Park, fractured her right knee in a runner-up effort in the Aug. 30 Spinaway Stakes (gr. I) at Saratoga and has been retired. She was returned to trainer Tony Dutrow's barn at Laurel and remains there.

"She's in good health and won't need an operation," the conditioner said while in Lexington at the Keeneland sales. "Her owners (Robert White, Lou Rehak, and Robert Orndorff) plan to keep her and have her bred.

Bred in New Jersey by Timber Creek Farm, Forever Partners (Not For Love--My New Pal, by Saratoga Six) opened her career with a win May 19 at Delaware Park. She earned $91,600 in her three starts.
