"After a breath-taking year in 2013, 2014 also looks to be an exceptional vintage thanks to a talented crop of 3-year-olds led by five group I winners," Arqana chairman Eric Hoyeau said. "This resounding success is thanks to French breeders who entrust us each year with their best yearlings as well as thanks to their English, Irish, German and Italian counterparts who prove loyal to the August sale by sending us yearlings of great quality.
"This year, the catalog, which numbers 365 yearlings, has once again been the object of a rigorous selection, and we can say with certainty that consignors will bring them to Deauville in the best possible condition. As we were during our inspection visits, buyers will undoubtedly be seduced by the August yearlings and will surely find the horses they are looking for and the next generation of group I winners who will fly the flag in their colors on the best racecourses during the three days of sale."
