The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame is joining with other museums across the country to assist and honor the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on New York City and Washington D.C.
Proceeds from the museum's admissions and gift shop sales on September 11 will be donated to the Families of Freedom Scholarship. The scholarship fund has pledged that 100% of money raised will go toward the postsecondary education of the dependents of 9/11 victims. Since program, chaired by former President Bill Clinton and former U.S. Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole, began a year ago, more than $100 million has been raised.
