Bosque Redondo, who suffered a fractured right foreleg shortly after the finish of $1 million Pacific Classic (gr. I), continues to do well following surgery, according to trainer Paco Gonzalez Thursday.

Gonzalez said Wednesday that the colt is making progress, putting weight on his injured leg and "looking very good."

The horse remains at Equine Medical Center in Cypress, where surgery was performed by Dr. Wayne McIlwraith.

Veterinarian Vince Baker, who operates the center and has numerous clients on Southern California racetracks, said Bosque Redondo would be moved to co-owner John Toffan's farm in Bradbury within a week or so.
