STARQUINE, an Internet Thoroughbred listing service, is accepting listings for online auctions. Sellers who want to sell their horses via online auction will be able to set the start and end date for the sale of their horses, set reserve prices and minimum bids, as well as the terms and conditions of the sale. Bidders will have to register in order to be able to place bids with successful bidders dealing directly with the seller regarding payment and arrangements to take possession of their purchase. Horses failing to meet their reserves will be converted to a stated price listing for private sale.

"Our goal is to continue to expand the marketplace for buyers and sellers of thoroughbreds," said Patrick Brown of STARQUINE "We had repeated requests from our customers who wanted to list horses in this manner and we have responded."

STARQUINE (www.starquine.com) will not be involved in the transaction, other than by providing the trading environment for buyers and sellers.
"This is simply a different pricing option for sellers who want to list horses they have for sale," Brown said. "We will look forward to continuing to add options and services for our customers"
