Stakes Winner Erlton to Red River in Louisiana

Erlton, a track-record setter and six-time stakes winner, will enter stud at Jay Adcock's Red River Farms near Coushatta, La. Purchased from Eb Novak's New Farm, he will stand for $1,500 on behalf of a partnership.

Erlton (Buckaroo--Am Sensational, by Deputy Minister) as a 2-year-old won the Victoria, Dover, Count Turf, and Primer Stakes, and set a track record of :51.80 for 4 1/2 furlongs at Delaware Park. At three, he took the Hirsch Jacobs and OBS Sprint Stakes. Six-year-old Erlton, who was bred by Kinsman Farm, placed in five stakes, three of which were graded. He captured eight of 27 starts and earned $352,339.
