Breeders' Cup Future Bet: Pool 3 Sunday Results

Orientate's romp in the Forego (gr. I) at Saratoga Sunday had an immediate impact on the Breeders' Cup Future Bet for the $1 million Sprint, where bettors made the D. Wayne Lukas trainee the 4-1 favorite.
Eclipse-Award winning Squirtle Squirt is now 15-1 in the Sprint pool after fading out of the money in the 6 1/2-furlong Forego. Both Orientate and Squirtle Squirt were at 10-1 going into Sunday's wagering.
Advance wagering on the Sprint, the $4 million Classic and the $2 million Distaff will be accepted until 7 p.m. (ET) Monday. All three races are part of the Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships at Arlington Oct. 26.
Gygistar, previously favored in the Sprint, is at 5-1. Swept Overboard (6-1), Xtra Heat and Carson Hollow (each 10-1) and Bonapaw (12-1) contiune to get action. Former sprint champ Kona Gold is 21-1. A total of $18,389 has been wagered in the current period on the Sprint.
In the Classic, where a total of $38,965 has been bet, War Emblem continues as the favorite at 5-1. Repent and Street Cry are both 7-1. Others attracting support are Came Home (10-1), and Macho Uno, Medaglia d'Oro and Momentum (all 11-1). Sakhee continues lukewarmly at 25-1.
In the Distaff pool, where $17,366 has been put up in the current wagering period, Azeri continues to be one of the strongest favorites in the Breeders' Cup Future at 2-1. Farda Amiga (5-1), Summer Colony (8-1), Take Charge Lady (9-1) and Bella Bellucci (11-1) also have support. Dancethruthedawn is 19-1.
A total of $74,720 has been bet on the third of the four pools being conducted by the NTRA.
