Pacific Classic (gr. I) pace-pusher Bosque Redondo continues to do well following surgery Tuesday for a condylar fracture of the right foreleg and fractured sesamoids, it was reported Friday by trainer Paco Gonzalez.
Gonzalez said the horse is able to put more weight on the leg each day and is moving around.
Bosque Redondo is expected to remain at the Equine Medical Center in Cypress, where the surgery was performed by Dr. Wayne McIlwraith, for another three or four days, and continue his recovery at co-owner John Toffan's ranch in Bradbury.
