Hall of Fame rider Eddie Delahoussaye, injured when thrown at Del Mar Friday, will be off his mounts for the next three days, agent Scott McClellan said Saturday.

McClellan has been acting as the rider's agent while his regular agent, Ray Kravagna, has been out of town.

Delahoussaye went down heavily in the sixth race Friday when his mount, Seeingisbelieving, broke down and later was euthanized.

Delahoussaye was taken to Scripps Hospital La Jolla, where tests proved negative, McClellan said. However, Delahoussaye was kept overnight for observation and was to be released Saturday morning.

McClellan said Delahoussaye was sore but appeared well.
