Fastness to Pin Oak Lane in Pennsylvania

Millionaire and grade I winner Fastness will stand the 2003 breeding season at Dr. William Solomon's Pin Oak Lane Farm near New Freedom, Pa. Fastness, who completed the recent breeding season at Graham J. Beck's Gainesway Farm near Lexington, will stand for $3,000 as the property of Fastness LLC.
Fastness, a 12-year-old son of Rousillon--City Fortress, by Troy, has sired three stakes winners, including 2002 Canadian classic winner Le Cinquieme Essai. A $1.5-million earner, Fastness won six stakes, including consecutive runnings of the Eddie Read Handicap (gr. IT), and ran second in the 1995 Breeders' Cup Mile (gr. IT).
