Casino Exec, Horse Owner Lanni to Speak at NTRA Meeting

J. Terrence Lanni, chairman and CEO of MGM Mirage, will be the keynote speaker at the National Thoroughbred Racing Association's annual meeting that will be held Sept. 29-Oct. 1.

The annual meeting will be held in conjunction with the NTRA's marketing summit, at The Mirage in Las Vegas. Lanni will speak on a variety of marketing topics, including what horseracing can learn from Las Vegas at a lunch on Sept. 30, according to the NTRA announcement.

A Thoroughbred owner-breeder, Lanni serves on the board of directors of the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club and previously served as a direcotr of Magna Entertainment Corporation. Among the stakes horses he has owned, individually or in partnership, are Silic, Ladies Din, Regal Thunder and Greek Costume.
