Grade I winners
Lite the Fuse and
Smart Strike were represented by their first winners from their first crop of foals. Lite the Fuse's son, My Boy Elroy, won a 4 1/2-furlong race in :54.15 at Arlington International on May 25. The colt races as a homebred for Daniel Walton. Millionaire Lite the Fuse (Buckaroo--Annie's Dream, by Droll Role) is owned by Frank Stronach's Adena Springs and stands at Adena Springs South near Ocala, Fla.
Smart Strike's daughter, Caught Out, won at 4 1/2 furlongs in :53.46 at Woodbine on May 27. Bred by J.M.J. Stables Corporation, Caught Out races for Harlequin Ranches. Syndicated Smart Strike (Mr. Prospector--Classy 'n Smart, by Smarten) stands at William S. Farish's Lane's End Farm near Versailles, Ky.
