B. Wayne Hughes' Dyna's Club nursed the lead for jockey David Flores and had more than enough to hold off 23-1 longshot Four Plus Four in the stretch to win the featured $75,000 Osunitas Handicap for fillies and mares going 1 1/16 miles on the turf at Del Mar Wednesday.

The 6-year-old Kentucky-bred daughter of Dynaformer, trained by Ron Ellis, prevailed by a half-length at odds of 9-2. Final time was 1:43 4/5.

Dyna's Club went to the lead soon after the start and held it through fractions of :25 and :49 4/5 for the half-mile before picking it up in the stretch. Tropical Lady finished third behind Four Plus Four. Noches De Rosa, a first-time starter in the United States from Chile, closed strongly to finish fourth after encountering early trouble from her rail post. Irish-bred Reine De Romance, the 2-1 favorite, was no factor after a wide pulling trip.

Dyna's Club, the second choice in the field of nine, paid $11.80, $6.60 and $4.80. Four Plus four returned $20.20 and $10.60. Tropical Lady paid $6.80 for the show. The $2 exacta was $233.40.
