Godolphin Stable's E Dubai, winner of the Suburban Handicap over Lido Palace and Macho Uno, is questionable for the grade II, Saratoga Breeders' Cup Aug. 17. The Mr. Prospector colt suffered a bruised hoof at Belmont Park.

"We're not certain about that race," said Tom Albertrani, assistant to trainer Saeed bin Suroor. "He bruised it a couple of days ago. It's a pretty good bruise. It's too early to know if he'll run or not. We'll
probably have a better idea in a couple days."

Albertrani said he does not know how E Dubai injured himself. The 4-year-old colt won the 2001 Dwyer (gr. II) and was second in the Peter Pan (gr. II), Travers (gr. I) and Super Derby (gr. I) last year.

E Dubai has had hoof problems before. He did not run in Dubai over the winter because of heel problems that Albertrani suspects was due to a high salt content in the tracks there.
