William S. Farish's Lane's End Farm and Tom and Nancy Clark's Rancho San Miguel have entered into an agreement to stand grade II winner Roar at Rancho San Miguel near San Luis Obispo, Calif. His fee will be $5,000 live foal.

A 9-year-old son of Forty Niner, Roar has sired five stakes winners, including three this year, and is a half-brother to successful sire Eastern Echo. His dam, grade II winner Wild Applause (by Northern Dancer), is a daughter of Kentucky Broodmare of the Year Glowing Tribute. Roar stood the past season at Lane's End near Versailles, Ky.
