Van Nistelrooy, in the sales ring at Keeneland last year.
Van Nistelrooy, who brought the top-price of $6.4 million at last Keeneland's September yearling sale, became the 100th stakes winner for Overbrook Farm's leading sire Storm Cat when he won the Flame of Tara Tyros Stakes at Curragh on Saturday.

Trained by Aidan O'Brien for Mrs. John Magnier, Van Nistelrooy defeated Etruscan King (King of Kings) by a head as the 2-3 favorite while racing the seven furlongs in 1:32.7.

At last year's sale, Van Nistelrooy was sold by Lane's End Farm as agent for his breeder, Stonerside Stable, and became the second highest price horse ever sold at the Keeneland September sale.
