Ashford Stud stallion Woodman, who has shuttled to Australia the last several seasons, will not stand in Brazil for the Southern Hemisphere season.

The 19-year-old son of Mr. Prospector was scheduled to stand at TNT Stud, but the Brazilian government will not let him enter the country because of the recent death of a Thoroughbred in Kentucky because of West Nile virus. Woodman is expected to remain at Ashford near Versailles, Ky., and await the 2003 season.
