Hallowed Dreams, who has won 25 of 30 starts, has been given the summer off. "We're just trying to beat the heat with her," said assistant trainer and groom Selina Bremermann. "We're at Evangeline Downs and expect her back in September."
A Louisiana champion bred by Mike Kennington, 5-year-old Hallowed Dreams (Malagra--Pacific's Dream, by Brother Machree) races for her trainer, Lloyd Romero, in partnership with Johnny Gaspard, She has 17 stakes winners and earnings of $740,144.
