Mike's Wildcat Seeks Second Stake in Saratoga Opener "Mr. Oxley saw the Astoria and thought it was quite a special effort," trainer John T. Ward said of the filly previously trained by Jeff Bonde. "She looks good and fit. I'm not going to do a whole lot with her with the race coming up Wednesday. She's run three times, so she's pretty seasoned." Sent off at 14-1 odds in the Astoria, Mike's Wildcat was purchased privately by Oxley for an undisclosed amount.Vibs is by far the most seasoned of the Schuylerville entrants. The filly has one win and two seconds in four starts for trainer Dale Romans and owner Mike Tarp. In her last out Vibs was second in the Debutante Stakes (gr. III) at Churchill Downs. She is second in the morning line at 3-1. Among the nine filled entered in the Schuylerville is Michael Tabor's Stellar, a $700,000 purchase earlier this year who is making her career debut in the race. A daughter of By Grand Slam, Stellar is a half-sister to this year's Dywer Stakes winner Gygistar. "She's a very sound, beautiful animal and she's done everything right so far," said trainer Patrick Biancone. "She's fast and she's going to be ready. Most of the others have only run a few times, so they're only a start or two in front of us."The field for the Schuylerville, at 6 furlongs for 2-year-old fillies, is:PP, horse, weight, jockey, morning line 1--Freedom's Daughter, 118, John Velazquez, 4-1 2--Mymich, 116, Craig Perret, 20-1 3--Vibs, 118, Pat Day, 3-1 4--Jazz Lady, 122, Edgar Prado, 15-1 5--Stellar, 116, Jerry Bailey, 10-1 6--Oh Fudge, 118, C.C.
