With Patrick Husbands in the irons, Charles Fipke's homebred son of Dynaformer tracked the front-runner from several lengths back second, moved to challenge at the quarter pole, and sealed a runaway 7 3/4-length victory in the matter of few powerful strides.
Trained by Roger Attfield, 3-year-old Danish Dynaformer covered 1 1/2-miles in 2:29.28 on firm turf.
The Breeders' Stakes completed Danish Dynaformer's trifecta of starts in all three races of the classic series for Canadian-breds as he finished a close second to Shaman Ghost
in the Queen's Plate on the all-weather track July 5 at Woodbine and ran sixth behind Breaking Lucky
in the Prince of Wales Stakes on dirt at Fort Erie July 28.
Breaking Lucky was third early in the Breeders' Stakes, then gave away on the far turn before finishing last.
Husbands felt keeping Danish Dynaformer free of trouble was the key to the Breeders' Stakes victory.
"He broke sharp and I let him run away from there because I didn't want to get boxed in," he said. "He can be quite aggressive.
"I give all my respect to Roger. I breezed him on the dirt and he breezed so good I said to Roger, 'How come he's not going to the Prince of Wales? Roger said, 'He's not bred for the race.' Unfortunately, we went in the race and it was no good."
Danish Dynaformer has a 4-1-1 record from nine career starts and earned $300,000 for the win to push his career bankroll to over $608,938. He broke his maiden in February of this year on the turf at Gulfstream Park
and romped in an allowance race over yielding turf at Keeneland. He won the Plate Trial Stakes on June 14 on Woodbine Polytrack, setting the stage for his narrow loss to Shaman Ghost in the Queen’s Plate.
Danish Dynaformer, the 7-5 favorite, was produced by the Danehill mare Danish Wildcat, who is closely related to 2000 Breeders' Cup Mile (gr. IT) winner and sire War Chant (Danzig) and is a full sister group winner Ivan Denisovich who is grade/group I-placed in the U.S., England, and France.
Under equal weights of 126 pounds, Danish Dynaformer paid $4.80, $3.10, and $2.20 and Conquest Boogaloo returned $4.70 and $3.30. Lucky Lindy paid $2.70.
Attfield is the winningest trainer in the Breeders' Stakes, also capturing the race in 2009, 2001, 1999, 1998, 1993, 1990, 1989, and 1986.
