Overbrook Farm official Ric Waldman announced that an agreement in principle has been reached with Satish and Anne Sanan's Padua Stables to stand grade I winner Snow Ridge at Padua near Summerfield, Fla. Snow Ridge, who was retired from racing because of a sesamoid injury, was scheduled to stand at William T. Young's Overbrook near Lexington.

"He's recovering well from his injury, and we expect to send him to Florida in about two months," Waldman said.

A Storm Cat grandson, Snow Ridge (Tabasco Cat--Snow Forest, by Woodman) won 10 of 21 starts and earned $711,989.
