The National Museum of Racing will host the annual
Saratoga Preview on July 22. The program begins at 7:00pm in the Museum's Hall of Fame Theater and will feature the trends to watch for in 2002. Video highlights from 2001 Saratoga Graded stakes races such as the Travers and Whitney, and question-and-answer opportunities with a panel of racing experts will also be included in the evening's festivities. Special guests scheduled to appear include
Barry K. Schwartz, Chairman and CEO of NYRA; Hall of Fame jockey
Jerry Bailey;
Kenny McPeek and his wife,
Sue, trainers of 2002 Belmont Stakes winner
Sarava;
Nick Kling, program host for the OTB Network and handicapper/columnist for the Troy
Record.
Mike Kane, sports columnist for the Daily
Gazette and correspondent for
The Blood-Horse magazine, serves as moderator for the discussion. Saratoga Preview is free and open to the public.
