Eight days have been added to the 2000 meet at Delaware Park and the track will now conclude its season on Nov. 19. Chris Warren, the track's racing secretary since 1994, will resign his position effective at the conclusion of the 2000 meet to take a similar position at Ruidoso Downs in New Mexico. Delaware Park will conduct a search for a replacement...West Virginia Gov. Cecil Underwood plans to attend the 14th running of the Breeders Classics on Sunday. "To have the governor in attendance is a clear indicator that this is the premier racing event in West Virginia," said West Virginia Breeders Classics president Sam Huff. Underwood will present the Governor's Cup trophy to the winner of the first race on the card...The Oct. 27 BMW Cox Plate at Australia's Moonee Valley Racecourse will be simulcast in North America, with wagering available on the 10-race card available from a North American pool at Hastings Park in British Colombia, Canada.
