Belmont Stakes (gr. I) winner Sarava turned in a solid half-mile breeze the morning of June 29 at Churchill Downs as the Kenny McPeek-trained colt continues his preparation for a late summer/fall campaign.

The New Phoenix Stable runner breezed the distance in :48.40 over a fast track under Patricia Cooksey, who has become Sarava's regular work partner in recent weeks.

McPeek is pointing the son of Wild Again toward a return to competition in the $500,000 Jim Dandy Stakes (gr. II) at Saratoga or the $1-million Haskell Invitational Handicap (gr. I) at Monmouth Park. Both races are Aug. 4.
